Again, forgot to take a before picture:(  Ryan had already put these shelves in before I said "oh WAIT....I forgot to take a before pic"  Sorry, just picture this space with no shelves:)

Now I just have to find 4 matching baskets that are NOT $20 a piece!  I just think that's crazy!

Basement Update

Here is an update of our basement...the ongoing project:)  We actually decided to have a super bowl party and are now wishing the basement was completely done for all of our guest, but luckily it is close enough to have people enjoy the game down there:)

It's getting there:)  More pictures to come:)

Some Heart Day Love

Snowed in inspiration....I decided to Valentine up my house...

My box-o-crafts, I'm not lucky enough to have a craft room yet (it's on the list)  so this will have to do.  Since we are SNOWED IN today, I had to use what I got...time to get creative

New table centerpiece made with things I had in the craft box and around the house

I used a frame I had, it was brown so I just gave it a little white spray paint and then made the hearts from scrap book paper

I made the moss heart with some floral wire and moss

This page is a work in progress, but it will give you an idea of what we have been working with.  We bought our house 3 years ago and there was no way we could live in it with the condition it was in.  It took lots of hours and lots of love to get it to where it is now, and anyone who owns a home knows..the job is never done.  Check out some of our before and after pictures HERE.
